The table is the piece most people give up on. The right length for your kitchen is rarely the length that's in stock. I build dining tables to your dimensions, in the wood and finish you want, sturdy enough to outlast the chairs around it. Farmhouse, clean modern, or something in between.

A headboard should match the room, not fight it. I build headboards and bed frames to fit beds you already own or beds we're sizing from scratch — in finishes that pull the room together instead of standing out for the wrong reason.

Storage built into the wall beats storage bought to sit against it. Custom built-ins, shelving, entry benches, and cabinetry use the space you have instead of the space a factory guessed at. A wall of built-ins does the work of three pieces of bought furniture and looks like it was always meant to be there.

How custom works — from idea to install

Custom can sound complicated. It isn't, the way I run it. Here's the whole thing, start to finish.

  1. We talk it through

    You tell me the piece, the room, and what you're working with for a budget. A photo of the space and a couple of measurements is plenty to start. No charge, no pressure.

  2. I quote it straight

    I give you an honest price and a real timeline before any work starts — no surprises halfway through. If your idea can be done smarter or cheaper, I'll tell you.

  3. I build it

    This is the part I'm here for. I build the piece by hand, keep you posted, and check in on the details that matter — wood, finish, hardware.

  4. I deliver and set it in place

    I bring it to you and put it where it goes. No flat-pack, no "some assembly," no scratched floors. If there's mounting or install that goes with it, I can handle that too — I'm already there.

    That last step is the difference. Most custom makers hand you the piece at the shop door. I finish the job in your room.

Full-room and whole-home furnishing

Custom isn't only one piece at a time. I'll furnish a whole room or a whole home — planning the layout, picking what gets built versus sourced, and pulling it together so it feels designed instead of collected. That's the "and design" half of the name.

You don't have to know exactly what you want before you call. Half of design is helping you figure that out.

Materials and finishes

I build to last in this climate. West Texas air is dry, and dry air is hard on wood that wasn't built for it — joints loosen, tops crack, cheap pieces show it fast. I build with that in mind: solid construction, joinery that holds, finishes that protect.

You pick the direction — the wood species, the stain or natural finish, the hardware — and I'll steer you toward what holds up and looks right in your space.
